What does peak mean?
Peak has taken on a new meaning in recent slang, in which it describes something that is excellent, superb, truly and wonderfully great, etc. (‘this game is so peak’). It also can describe the highest level of a specified quality (‘peak cringe,’ ‘peak cute,’); in such cases it can be positive or negative.

Where does peak come from?
